But from some time I have been facing an issue in to theme personalization in windows 7, when ever I try to change the theme from windows 7 theme with aero to another windows 7 theme without aero it does not change at all, only the current wallpaper and sounds get changed. I tried to switch back to windows 7 basic theme without aero but I could not. I still have no idea why this problem is occurring but some how I found a fix for this problem, here is how I solved the problem.
Go My Themes and then save the current applied unsaved theme with some custom name like the one shown in the image below. Now apply other windows 7 theme with aero or without aero, you can always revert to the windows 7 basic theme by clicking theme you had saved under my themes.
